MARKETING ASSISTANT (student)
HOURS OF WORK:
variable hours to a maximum 36.25 hours per week (weekends, evenings and holidays as required)
Fort Henry National Historic Site of Canada
$11.40 per hour
PERIOD OF EMPLOYMENT:
July and August 2017
To assist in the day to day marketing requirements on behalf of the Marketing Team as follows: to distribute media information via fax, fax broadcast or E-MAIL; to prepare and execute task lists relating to marketing; to maintain statistical data required from marketing; to maintain a high level of internal/external customer service; to distribute event/marketing collateral material as required; to conduct visitor exit surveys at The St. Lawrence Parks Commission’s sites and attractions; to input survey responses into selected software programs; to input postal code tracking information into Access program; to liaise with other internal units and communicate initiatives; to perform other related duties as required.
Excellent written and oral communication skills; superior creativity and organizational skills; working knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Access; personal commitment to exceptional customer service; ability to work weekends and holidays.
